This woman models her husband's or boy friend's Minnesota National Guard uniform. The crossed cannons on the hat indicate that state's First Artillery Regiment, which in the years before World War One consisted of six batteries in Minneapolis-St. Paul. The crossed cannon are also behind the "MINN." on the collar.
